Area of Focus: Gross Motor
Mobility spans development from rolling and crawling to walking and running. Common diagnosis such as torticollis, hypotonia, dysplasia, and developmental disorders can affect gross motor skills in children. Our therapists understand the strength, coordination, balance, and endurance needed to help each child achieve these milestones. When kids have good movement quality, they are able to access their environments and participate fully in all areas of life. Movement helps children learn and grow, so we strive to use a multidisciplinary approach to help refine gross motor skills to improve feeding, fine motor, and school skills.
